About Madrid Airport

Madrid Airport (MAD) officially known as Adolfo Suárez, Madrid-Barajas Airport is the largest airport in Madrid. The airport was renamed in 2014 in honor of the ex-Spanish PM Adolfo Suárez. Located in Barajas district this airport was inaugurated in the year 1931 and has since then expanded in size. At present, there are a total of five terminals, out of which one is a satellite terminal (T4S) which is connected with terminal T4 via an underground auto rail.
